Join us for our last Sunday Hike of 2024, as we head back to the Peak District! Don't be sad, we'll be back again early next year for a whole new term of Sunday Hikes! It also means I get a break from writing these descriptions (help me)!

We will meet by 08:15 at the Parkinson Steps to take the coach to Castleton in the Peak District. This picturesque Derbyshire village lies not far from the famous Mam Tor, and lots of spectacular caves.

The coach will aim to depart Castleton at 16:30, if your group is back to the village early you'll have the opportunity to explore the local amenities (i.e. outdoor shops, pubs and cafes!).

As with all Sunday Hikes, we will split into 4 or 5 groups each with two volunteer leaders.

We want to make Sunday Hikes as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, you must have the following: walking boots with ankle support, rucksack, waterproofs, appropriate layers, sufficient water (at least 1 litre), and sufficient food (See the ‘Getting Outside’ FAQ section of our website at https://luuhc.com/faq#Getting-outside for some inspiration!) . If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund. Sorry, you can’t swap tickets.
