
LUU x LUU ISoc Open Iftar
LUU, in collaboration with the LUU Islamic Society, are hosting an Open Iftar in the Great Hall at the University of Leeds.
An Iftar is a religious observation of Ramadan, where the Muslim community will come together to break their fast. The meal, provided my MyLahore, is taken just after the Maghrib prayer, which occurs around sunset.
This will be an Open Iftar meaning anyone can attend. come and find out more about Ramadan and join in with students and staff breaking fast on campus,
Doors for the event will open at 5:30pm, and close at 8pm. Tickets are free.
If you are attending there are no expectations to partake in every aspect of the Iftar, only those you are comfortable partaking in
