Join us for our epic summer trip to wrap up the 2025/26 academic year!

We will meet on the afternoon of Friday 5th June at the School of English, where we travel by cars and vans to Kinlochewe. Transport, accommodation, breakfast and an evening meal (except the night you arrive and leave the trip, and the days in the campsite) are included in your ticket. We are staying at Kinlochewe Village Hall, they don't have a website so unfortunately no more details to share. We will be staying in Kinlochewe until Thursday morning (6 nights), when we will drive over to Glenbrittle Campsite (https://www.dunvegancastle.com/glenbrittle/campsite/) on the Isle of Skye. We will camp on Skye for a further 3 nights, and have a good 3 days of hiking there. While at the campsite, everyone will be responsible for their own meals. We will travel back to Leeds on Sunday 14th June. The trip will be a total of 9 nights.

Each day we will split into groups and go on separate routes, these will vary in length, elevation and technicality. This trip should give you the opportunity to explore some of the North West Highlands most impressive Munro's, visit some idyllic gems and conquer epic scrambles. Our campsite on Skye will give us great access the the famous Cuillin mountains, as well as some lovely lochs, and the sea! Due to the nature of the trip we suggest that you have previously been on a LUUHC weekend trip and are very keen for big hill days!

We want to make Weekend Trips as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, some equipment is required. A kit list can be found here https://luuhc.com/gear/weekend-trips. Please follow it! Need some inspiration for what food to pack? If you can no longer make it to the hike, please contact our Club Secretary, Florence, through luuhc.secretary@gmail.com as soon as possible. If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund.
