If you haven’t quite found your people yet, Creative Connections — a joint initiative by the University of Leeds and Leeds University Union — is here to help you build meaningful connections.

This free creative wellbeing programme isn’t just a one-off craft activity, it’s a longer-term opportunity to build confidence, explore creativity, and connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment. It’s especially for students who may be feeling isolated, unsure, or simply looking to meet new people in a low-pressure setting.

We’re starting things off with a Creative Connections taster session, where you’ll get a feel for the programme by making mosaic tiles and meeting others who are also looking to build new connections. It’s a gentle, hands-on introduction to what the full programme has to offer.
