Join us for a beginners/improvers climbing and bouldering session at the Edge Climbing Wall on Wednesday 1st November from 15.00-16.30.

This climbing wall session is ideal for beginners, and those who have already tried climbing, and also provides an opportunity for you to progress with the necessary skills and knowledge onto our Learn to Climb Courses and outdoor climbing trips.

This session will show you the basics of climbing and bouldering, from scaling 8m high walls to coming back down safely. You will also learn about climbing movement skills, helping you complete some of our graded climbing routes with style. Please come ready wearing comfortable gym wear and trainers. Climbing is a fantastic full-body workout so be prepared to challenge yourself physically and mentally!

Meeting point & time

Please meet Kitty/ Andy, our climbing instructors, at The Edge reception at 14.50 on Wednesday 1st November. They will take you through to the climbing wall to get ready for the session!

What you need to bring

Please come in flexible clothes for the session along with trainers (ideally with a low midsole) sneakers or running shoes. We also recommend that you bring a water bottle.

You must be at least 17 years of age to attend this trip.

If after payment a participant cannot attend for any reason, including illness, injury and emergencies, the participant will not be entitled to a refund. The event organiser will be as accommodating as possible if the participant cannot attend, and will deal with cases on an individual basis up to one week before the event. We advise that in the event of the named candidate not being able to attend that they find a replacement to take their position on the course and notify the event organiser at least one week before the date of the event. No changes can be made within one week of the event.
