Join us for an amazing day out to Barley!

We will meet by 08:15 at the Parkinson Steps to take the coach to Barley in the Forest of Bowland. In the area is the infamous Pendle Hill, the site of some witch trials and shrouded in legend, which has also been featured in an episode of Doctor Who!

The coach will aim to depart from Barley at 16:30, if your group is back to the village early you'll have the opportunity to visit the local pub or cafe.

As with all Sunday Hikes, we will split into 4 or 5 groups each with two volunteer leaders.

We want to make Sunday Hikes as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, you must have the following: walking boots with ankle support, a rucksack, waterproofs, appropriate layers, sufficient water (1 litre plus), and sufficient food. If you can no longer make it to the hike, please contact our Club Secretary, Florence, through luuhc.secretary@gmail.com as soon as possible. If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund.
