Come along and celebrate diversity in accents, share the story of your accent and how it represents you, and question your own accent-bias too! 

The event is an interactive workshop and discussion, celebrating accent diversity as a way to build confidence and address the issue of accent-bias in the university experience for students. We will have guests from the Lifelong Learning Centre, academics who research linguistic diversity, staff members from the Plus Programme, your student exec officers and insight from the careers service/employers. 

The event will begin with a panel introduction, move into table discussions to share stories and end with a Q&A from student attendees.

Tickets are free and used to monitor attendance.
