Worried about the rising cost of living or finding that your student loan isn’t keeping up? Come along to our Essentials Open House to grab some free snacks, tea, and coffee, enjoy some music, and learn more about the support available if you’re struggling financially.

You’ll also have the chance to sign up for our brand-new FREE LUU Meal Kit Boxes — designed to help you cook healthy, affordable meals with your friends or flatmates. Each kit includes ingredients and simple recipes to make cooking on a budget easy and fun.

Plus, come and meet your Wellbeing Officer, International Office&PGR Officer. This is your space to share your experiences and concerns around the cost of living, housing, or other basic needs — and to help shape the support LUU offers.

We’ll also be hosting recipe card making, where you can share your favourite dishes — the recipes you submit may even be featured in our new meal kit boxes! We’re especially encouraging students to share recipes from home to celebrate the amazing range of regional and international dishes that make up our global university community. This event also ties in with World Unite Fest, celebrating our shared cultures through food and connection.
