Join us for the first weekend trip of the new academic year, as we head to Ennerdale in the Lake District.

We will meet late afternoon on Friday 13th October at the School of English, where we travel by cars and vans to the Lake District. Transport, accommodation, breakfast and an evening meal (except the night you arrive and leave the trip) are included in your ticket. We are staying at Low Gillerthwaite Field Centre, details of the centre can be found here http://www.lgfc.org.uk/ - FYI it is very unlikely that we'll have phone signal at the accommodation. 

Each day we will split into groups and go on separate routes, these will vary in length, elevation and technicality. This trip should give you the opportunity to explore some of the Lake District's Western Fells as well as Ennerdale Water and Ennerdale Forest which lie in the valley. You can buy a two-day ticket for the trip if you'd like to return to Leeds on Sunday evening or a three-day ticket if you'd like to spend more time in the hills and return on Monday evening.

We want to make Weekend Trips as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, you must have some gear.
