Explore the Yorkshire Coast - Robin Hood's Bay to Whitby - GOGA Walk - Saturday 24th May 2025
Join Get Out, Get Active on a spectacular coastal walk starting from the world-renowned and picturesque Robin Hood’s Bay and finishing in the charming seaside town of Whitby which was immortalised in the gothic horror novel Dracula.
The longer walk will start from Robin Hood’s Bay while the shorter walk will start a little closer to Whitby - both walks will be along the beautiful Yorkshire coast including views of the Yorkshire cliffs, the Whitby Abbey and even the cliff where Dracula supposedly arrived in Whitby. There will be the opportunity to take in the scenic views and sightseeing spots, where we can photograph some of the best views on the Yorkshire Coast!
We will finish the trip off with some time in Whitby where you can explore the shops and cafes in this ancient harbour town If you wish you can purchase traditional fish and chips so we suggest bringing a payment method or money for a tasty meal, snack or hot drink before departing back for Leeds.
