International Students' Advisory Board
The International Students' Advisory Board (ISAB) is a student-led forum hosted by Leeds University Union (LUU) that amplifies the voices of international students across all academic levels, including Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs). ISAB provides a welcoming, inclusive space for students to share their experiences, raise concerns, and propose ideas that shape university policy and student life.
This open town hall-style meeting invites international students to engage directly with key stakeholders from LUU and the University’s International Student Office. There is no formal recruitment process—any international student can attend, participate, and submit topics for discussion.
What to Expect:
- A collaborative environment where student feedback drives change.
- Opportunities to influence university services and support structures.
- Direct dialogue with staff and student representatives.
- A chance to connect with peers and build community.
How to Get Involved:
- Submit your discussion topics via this form. LUU will then invite you to workshop your point before presenting it at the meeting, including linking you up with students who share similar concerns.
- Attend the next ISAB meeting.
- Reach out to Rivea Jefferson, International & Postgraduate Engagement Coordinator, at r.jefferson@luu.ac.uk or the Faculty Engagement Team at facultyengagement@luu.ac.uk for more information.
Whether you're passionate about improving student services, advocating for equity, or simply want to be heard, ISAB is your platform to make a difference.
