This AI², we will be talking about the newest free, open-source DeepSeek models. We'll cover the technical implementation details about what makes these models so powerful. We will also discuss the various ethical implications, especially in light of recent political events. There will be a practical workshop teaching you how to get the most suitable state-of-the-art DeepSeek model running locally on your machine.

The AI^2 Forum is hosted by the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) of Artificial Intelligence for Medical Diagnosis in Care (AI-Medical). It runs on the last Wednesday of the month at 4pm (usually in the Sir William Henry Bragg Buliding).
