Salsa Society- Intermediates Salsa Class
Hola! Intermediates ticket: 1 class of intermediate Casino salsa, 1 class of intermediate crossbody salsa + social dancing.
Times: Please do not arrive late to class! The teachers will need to swiftly start the class and we do not want people joining in late.
8-9 pm Cuban salsa.
9-10 pm crossbody salsa.
10-10:30 pm social dancing.
Intermediates requirements:
Crossbody:
• Dance on time.
• Know: basic, front/back/side step, Suzie-Q, right & left turns, crossbody, walk-through, inside & outside turns.
• Leaders: gentle hands (no push/pull, no thumbs).
• Followers: keep timing, good arm-body connection.
Cuban:
• Enchufla.
• Vacila (including two-handed variations: Setenta and Sombrero).
• Siete.
Note!!
If you can spin fast but lose the beat, we recommend to stay in beginners until timing feels natural.
We want you comfortable with the basics before levelling up!
