The annual club International Trip truly is the jewel in the crown of club trips (although Torridon runs it close). This year, our summer holiday extravaganza takes us to the Alps for two weeks of camping, big hill days and vibes! 

Great company, great stories and spectacular scenery are guaranteed! Go on, take the plunge, you know you want to - this is one for the lore!

After much blood, sweat, tears and planning - deposits are being opened on Monday 8pm/8:15pm! 

The two week option will run from Sunday 3rd to Friday 15th August. This includes a week in the famous French mountain town of Chamonix (host city for the first ever Winter Olympics no less) and a multi day hike, where you will hike each day and stay in a different alpine huts.

The one week option will run from Sunday 3rd July to Sunday 10th August, this will be in Chamonix with those on the two week option!

These dates (and deposits) do not include travel to Geneva, Switzerland (where we are meeting) or back from Chamonix, France (w1) / Sion, Switzerland (w2). This is for you to organise yourselves, but have fun with it! (I personally worked in trips to Paris and Munich on the way to and from the international trip last year!)

To come on this trip, you must have been on at least one weekend club trip or have equivalent hiking experience, but please discuss this with a committee member! We are also only halfway through the year so there's plenty of time to come on one if you haven't been able to yet! The club will not be responsible for your gear, transport, insurance etc., however we will try to provide as much help and advice as we can!

A deposit of £80 will secure your place - tickets will go live at 8pm for the two week adventure and 8:15pm for the one week adventure on Monday 9th December. As tickets are more limited for the two week option, you still have a chance to get tickets for the one week trip.
