Join us for the last Sunday hike of the semester!

We will meet by 08:15 at the Parkinson Steps to take the coach to Staithes, a lovely town on the coast of the North York Moors. This town used to be a fishing and mining hub, and is home to some very quaint narrow alleys, and fossil-filled cliffs!

The coach will aim to depart from Staithes at 16:30. If your group is back at the village early, you'll have the opportunity to visit the local pub or cafe.

As with all Sunday Hikes, we will split into 4 or 5 groups each with two volunteer leaders.

We want to make Sunday Hikes as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, you must have the following: walking boots with ankle support, a rucksack, waterproofs, appropriate layers, sufficient water (1 litre plus), and sufficient food. If you can no longer make it to the hike, please contact our Club Secretary, Florence, through luuhc.secretary@gmail.com as soon as possible. If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund.
