Ramadhaan & Me In-person and Online Event 2025

Are you a student in the Faculty of Medicine & Health? Are you planning to fast during Ramadhaan this year? If so, you may be interested in signing up to our Ramadhaan and Me Panel Event taking place on Monday 3rd February from 17:30 – 19:00.

The event will take place both in-person and online via Microsoft Teams.

For those attending in person, a selection of snacks kindly provided by MyLahore, will also be available.

This event provides a welcoming space for students and staff who are fasting, or planning to fast, during Ramadhaan. It’s an opportunity to share experiences, tips, and advice, as well as ask questions and learn from others.

Our esteemed panellists this year are:

Jaan Malik (Muslim Student Support Officer)

Rizwana Chaus (FMH HR Manager)

They will discuss topics such as managing placements while fasting, balancing sleep and prayer during Ramadhaan, and the significance of setting intentions, among others. There will also be ample time for questions and additional discussion points.

Please note that this is a Faculty of Medicine & Health event and places will be allocated to Faculty students and staff in the first instance. If there are still in-person places available, these will then be allocated to students outside of the Faculty on a first come first served basis. We do not have a limit on students attending online, so you are more than welcome to join us virtually.
