Join Get Out Get Active for a guided walk along the beautiful cliffs, coastline and woodlands around Saltburn. Saltburn by the Sea was once an important Victorian bathing resort founded in 1861. It boasts the North East’s only pleasure pier.

A longer and a shorter walk start in the seaside town of Saltburn and take in cliff tops, woods and breathtaking views, with breaks to rest and take photographs. We will finish the trip off with some free time on Saltburn's promenade and pleasure pier.

Saltburn’s Victorian pleasure pier dates from 1869 and was the first to be built on the North East coast. At 206 metres it is free to explore, and is the only pier in Yorkshire.

We will depart by coach from the Parkinson Steps, and coach travel is included in the price.
