The Varsity Colour Run will be the opening event for the Varsity Festival 2025, and everybody is welcome to take part! The event is a 3km (approximate) run, jog or walk around the University of Leeds campus and you will pass through various dye stations around campus and be doused in different colours as you complete the course.

We have a maximum capacity of 1000 runners in total and all University of Leeds students and staff are invited to come and take part in this special celebration of our campus community!

All participants who enter and take part will be given a Varsity Colour Run white t-shirt. These are only available to Colour Run participants.

There will be a mass warm up before the event delivered by our Girls Training Together society. There will also be a mass dye throw at the start to get you prepared and ready.

You will begin in a white t-shirt and finish plastered in colour. There will be a splash of our varsity colours along the route to get you in the spirit. Get ready to have some fun!

Please note:

Please come dressed in appropriate exercise clothing and footwear. This means ready to run and be active, but also clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or dye on. Although the dye is water soluble, we recommend you consider your clothing choices.

Due to the amount of people running, the event will be set off in four separate waves. These waves will be at:

6:00pm

7:00pm
