Beginning Hulu Hoop with Karen Cooper

I'm Karen Cooper Hula Hooper and I teach beginners hula hoop classes which are a fun way to learn a new skill and keep fit.
Hula hooping is great exercise - it's fantastic for your general fitness, it will help strengthen your core muscles and will improve your balance and coordination. The class will start with a warm-up, then cover basic hoop skills for getting the hoop moving on your waist, hips, arms and hands, then we will put a short hoop sequence together before cooling down.
Wear clothes that you can move comfortably in - shiny fabrics are more difficult as the hoop will slide, natural fibres are best.
All hoops provided.
