I am applying to be co-captain as being a fobber has been the highlight of my second year. With my final year looming I thought that it would be an amazing opportunity to continue our incredible netball team with the same fun and energy that was put in by our Queen Parisse.

My dedication to netball has been proven as I am yet to miss a match and I love our socials (particularly the nativity ;)🙏🎅 ). I’ve also had leadership roles within netball before as it has always been a big part of my life so I know I would put the work into this role!
However, my favourite part about this team is getting to mix within different years and meeting so many gorg girls I would not get to meet without netball. Each fobber has a special place in my heart and I would love to encourage some more socials (particularly some more sober) to ensure we can continue to flourish our fobber family!

I hope I can have the privilege to lead the fobbers next year to victory, and to popworld.

Hi all,
I am running for co-captain for the netball team as I’ve been an active member throughout this year. My commitment to fobbers remains unwavering, to the matches to the socials I’ve always enjoyed hanging out with my fobbers and for that reason I want to run the team next year.

I’d love to have more consistent socials throughout the year, bringing all of us together more on and off the court.

When I joined as a third year, my only regret is that I didn’t know about the team sooner. Therefore, as captain I plan to try my hardest to get the word out about fobsoc netball, not just for first years but all years.

Overall, I’ve really enjoyed being part of such a wonderful group of girls and want to continue the team for another fobulous year!!!!

HELLO ALL!!

One of my favourite parts of my first year at university has been being part of Fobsoc netball. I've loved the team spirit of playing matches every week, our chaotic training sessions, and our silly socials and have truly made some of my best friendships through this team. I'm super grateful for the work that Parisse has put into getting the netball team back up and running and it would be a privilege to try and continue these beautiful vibes through the next year.

Of course, I am also super competitive and a natural team leader, having grown up doing a lot of sports, which I believe will be perfect for this role. I also love netball so much!!!!

Through running to social media this year and having a small part within the committee, I feel I have an insight into what it takes to run the team and am prepared for the challenge!!

There's no doubt we will have a super fun and successful time next year if I have anything to do with it. :P xxx
