This position entails running the society as a whole; this means chairing committee meetings, AGMs and EGMs, communicating with the union, ensuring that all other committee members are accountable, and filling in wherever necessary. The role of the president is very dynamic and flexible; some of the qualities that would help a candidate excel in this role are good leadership, communication, administrative skills, adaptability and the ability to work at a pace that ensures that the work is done, but no one is left behind.
