Hi, I'm Alex, a second year student studying Classical Civilisation and English.
Sci Fi and Fantasy Soc has been a major part of my experience at Leeds, even before I came to university here. I first came to the society on one of my open days, and it helped me decide to choose this university. Weekly Sci Fi and Fantasy events have remained a consistent part of my uni experience.
As Secretary, I want to keep this society running to provide others the same experience. Friends in other societies have commented on the lack of variety in our events, and I believe that re-expanding to more events and features (such as film viewings and the library) would help the society reach more people and continue running.
