Hi everyone I’m Bella!
I have been playing badminton for the university for 3 years and am really enjoying meeting lots of new people each year through badminton as well as getting involved in training. I would love the opportunity to be social media secretary for the badminton society and support its development to reach the best of its ability. My organisational and communication skills are demonstrated in my role in other societies where I am currently secretary for Oncology society and Treasurer for General Surgery Society. Previously I have advertised events through both social media and emails for other societies like Oncology society. Next year I am intercalating in a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine and would be very happy to dedicating my time to the badminton society. Being social media secretary would provide me with the opportunity to create a very engaging and exciting social media page for the badminton society where I hope it will attract lots of new students to get involved in badminton. Furthermore, I would be very happy to answer any questions and communicate with people about the badminton society through social media.
