Social Media and Marketing Officer
This role is perfect for creative people who have a passion for marketing and social media. You will be responsible for the social media accounts (Facebook, Discord & Instagram) and ensuring all posts are appropriate and on time. You will need to create advertising/promotional material for all events and anything else which is necessary. You will be in regular contact with LUU Events & Activities, The Key Club, and lots of other local companies.
Key Responsibility:
- Posting to the social media accounts
- Liaising with local companies to advertise events
- Creating engaging advertising material for a range of mediums.
- Ensure the society members are kept up to date with events and gigs
- Working closely with Treasurer to finance advertising.
- Working closely with Secretary to ensure events aren’t double booked and don’t clash with other events happening in the city.
- Working closely with the Events Officers to ensure all events are advertised.
- Ensuring all messages are responded to in a reasonable amount of time
