Events Officer

As Events Officer, your main responsibility is to support and work with the Social Secretary in planning events and attending society events to ensure they run smoothly. You will be in charge of asking for and listening to feedback and suggestions for society events from our members and relay them back to the committee, and monitoring event attendance at society events. 

Key Responsibility:

• Assist the Social Secretary in organisation and planning of events 
• Attend society events to ensure they are being run smoothly, including making sure the safety and wellbeing of attendees are being ensured. 
• Making sure the society’s zero tolerance policy is being enforced at society events 
• Monitoring attendance at society events, including keeping headcounts and checking tickets at ticketed events
