Hey girlies, my name is Freya and I am currently studying Economics & Finance. As a girl who loves both GTT classes and the legendary Wednesday socials, I would love to be your treasurer for next year! The best decision I have made has been joining this society as you guys have made it such an inclusive and fun environment. As a part of my course, I have developed my Excel and budgeting skills and I plan to listen to all your feedback to be able to make the most of our budget. If you want to fit in as many exciting activities and socials as possible then I’m your girl!

I’m Mali, a first year History and Economics student. I am excited to apply for the Treasurer role at Girls Training Together as I have a strong interest in fitness, and I would love to be able to support a positive, inclusive space for women to train and grow, something which has been so important for me at University. I pride myself in my attention to detail and take a responsible approach to managing finances. I’m confident in my ability to handle the society’s budget and track expenses whilst also working within a team and contributing to the wider society, outside of just my role, hopefully contributing to the group’s success. I believe Girls Training Together is such an important society here at Leeds and it would be an honour to be a part of it!

Hiya, I’m Amba! I’m currently working in an Investment Bank in London on a placement year for my PPE degree. This makes me the perfect fit for Treasurer as it means I work very well with numbers, and living in the big city has certainly taught me how to budget effectively, alongside having a fun time! I loved being a part of GTT last year, and I’m very excited by the opportunity not only to bring my own ideas to this amazing society, but also to incorporate all of your ideas too - whether it’s a charity fun run or a glamorous themed ball, my budget plan accounts for it all!

Hi, I’m Maya, a second-year Computer Science student! I’m running for Treasurer because I want to keep GTT accessible, affordable, and fun for everyone!

As a computing student, I’ll be able to keep a close eye on our budget, so you get the best value from your membership. I’m all about listening to what you love - whether it’s RYDE socials, Pilates, Gala events, Spin, or fresh ideas like secret socials, cardio kickboxing, or even puppy yoga - and putting funds where they make a real difference!

I want to boost our fundraising events and build cool new partnerships in Leeds to secure more funding and make our GTT community even better!
