Hi! My name's Ava, I'm a first year History student. This year I've been a proud GTT member - defo attending more socials than classes ;) I'm running for social sec because I'm confident, super friendly and dangerously enthusiastic about a Wednesday night social. I want to include more games/challenges, less awkward 'what course do you do' convos and keep up the Mischief madness. Most importantly I want to listen to you and provide socials which cater to everyone. I went to the first social alone and never looked back, so I want to maintain a welcoming environment for others to do the same!

My name is Stephanie, and I am currently a second year studying Sociology. I have been a member of Girls Training Together for two years now and I have honestly made the best memories and met some amazing girls through the society! I believe that socials are an important element of a society as they allow us to connect, have fun and make the most of our university experience. I would make a great social secretary as I am a creative and an outgoing individual who loves dressing up and has a passion for hosting events as it’s something that I’d like to pursue in the future. I plan on making socials that have a lot of games and challenges where members can have memorable nights out and fully enjoy the sport social aspect of university! I know how anxiety inducing socials can be when coming alone so I pledge to be a friendly and approachable social sec that makes everyone feel included and confident.

Hiya! I’m Alice, currently a first year Marketing student. As Social Sec I’ll ensure every Wednesday night is unforgettable, with wild dress codes, crazy pres, and collabs with other societies (of course always followed by the classic Revs, Popworld, and Chief!). I’ll be sure to mix in some new socials as well, from chilled drinks, to a feral Otley Run, getting everyone involved. I also hope to be an approachable, friendly face that both new and old members can come to with any problems, suggestions, or just for a chat! I’ve loved going ALL OUT each week with you guys this year, and I can’t wait for more fun next year <3

Heyy I’m Liv, a first year Liberal Arts student! As social sec, my goal is to be the girl people can come to with their concerns, whilst also hosting a great pres to get us ready for a WILD night out. I will encourage 100% effort with costumes and am eager to see face paint and creative DIY’s, so everyone is really dressing to impress! I would love to organise more collab socials with other societies and expand connections with bars and clubs so as many girls as possible can come party with us! I’m thinking karaoke nights, pub quizzes and OF COURSE taking the iconic Wednesday night to the next level with creative new themes and challenges!
