Hi, I’m Vara Pachimsawat (Onemai), a 2nd year Banking and Finance student going into my final year, and I’m running for Treasurer.
I see finance as the backbone of any society without proper management, there’s no guarantee money is actually being used in a way that benefits members.
I’ve gained experience through roles at Kiatnakin Phatra Bank and Bualuang Capital, and I’ll be joining EY this summer in the Valuation, Modelling and Economics team. These experiences have built my confidence in budgeting, tracking cash flow, and staying on top of financial details.

Beyond that, I’ve led a number of clubs and societies, so I understand both the importance of good financial planning and creating a welcoming environment for everyone, especially first-timers.


If elected, I’ll focus on:
1. Clear and realistic budgeting so events are well-funded without overspending
2. Using feedback and data to understand which events work best and allocate funds more effectively
3. Smarter spending and expanding sponsorship opportunities to make the most of our budget
4. Helping promote the society and being a friendly, approachable presence at events
