Hi lovelies! My name is Mia, I am a 2nd year Mental health nursing student! As a Mental Health Nurse I understand how difficult and anxiety inducing attending socials can be, especially if it’s your first time going! This is why I want to create fun socials that are inclusive and cater to everyone’s interests! Whether it’s a cute picnic in Hyde Park, A chill pizza night or the usual Wednesday trip to Mischief I want everyone to feel comfortable and safe when attending! I also want to be a friendly and approachable face to new and returning members!

Hiya! I’m Emma and am currently in my 1st year of studying International History & Politics. I have loved being a member of GTT this year, from the classes to the socials that have been on offer. I believe I’d be great for the role of Social Sec as I am a very sociable person who loves getting to know new people and won’t say no to a cheeky night out... especially on a Wednesday!! GTT has been a large part of making my first year so great, so would love to offer others the same experience. I would want to introduce a wider variety of socials, from chilled drinks & dinners out without sacrificing our beloved mischief sports night, in order for people to choose the socials which suit them best :)

Heyy, I’m Gaby, I'm a first year studying Business Management and my main aim will be to make sure every social is a highlight of your uni experience. As your social sec I will plan as many events as we can fit in ranging from club nights and Otley runs to cute nights in. I want everyone to get the most out of their membership so I will be open to suggestions and ideas for events, as well as having some creative/ crazy ideas of my own! Vote for me as your social sec for more opportunities to socialise and have a laugh!

Hi! My name’s Ella, I’m currently a first-year History BA student and an active member of GTT. Over the past year, I have loved attending the variety of classes GTT has to offer and I have particularly loved attending all night out socials. I would be an excellent candidate for Social Sec as I’m very outgoing (maybe too loud!) and eager to meet lots of people. I would offer a wide range of socials progressing from wholesome cocktail and games nights to feral Wednesday nights suiting everyone’s individual preferences. I’m very determined to build stronger connections with club nights such as Mischief and any others people want to attend. Furthermore, I would like to involve a lot more games/challenges within socials to break the ice and make sure no one feels nervous coming along alone and that introduces others to those they haven’t met before!
