Seeing the creative encouragement and positive opportunity for artistic expression in this society, including the creating effective social engagement and a space promoting well-being and sustained growth has driven me to apply to be apart of the committee.

Im from a little town in Wales where I've cultivated a love for nature as well as finding value in being open and honest when empathising and communicating with others.

Thoughts of my approaching end to second year of university, has created a period of self reflection and the realisation of deciding to become more involved in the arts social community particularly within student online engagement and working with the well-being of students. Witnessing diverse imagination and strong headed belief when working alongside students independently has revealed the importance of a well driven friendly support network and promoting events for inclusivity which welcomes free expression. Im very fond of the opportunity for students to display their unique crafts. As a student who has found interest in discovery modules, id like to encourage this opportunity for others as I find creativity is manifested through a stream of experiences within our lives.

Hey! My name's Dyuksha Rai and I'm a second year Communications and Media student running for the role of your Social Media Secretary! Hi, my name is Enya Budd and I am running for social media secretary. I would love to be involved in the art society committee as art has always been such a major part of my life, whether that be, as a subject at school, selling my paintings as a hobby, live sketching in a gallery, or just a relaxing stress relief. I love going to life drawing every Tuesday, as well as Thursday workshops, and I want to try and help art society reach out to as many people as possible, through social media, so they can learn and love art the way I do.
