As a candidate for the Social Secretary position in the Art Society, I am excited to take on the responsibility of planning and leading engaging social events that bring our members together. Drawing on my experience in event planning and my love for the arts, I am committed to creating a range of events that cater to everyone's interests and ensure that everyone feels included and safe. From casual drawing meetups to trips and exhibitions, I am eager to work with the treasurer to ensure that costs are managed effectively and that our events are accessible to all. I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm and creativity to this role and contributing to the vibrant community of the Art Society.

Hi, i’m Jenny and i’m running for the role of social secretary! I am in my first year studying psychology and over the past year have loved going to lots of the art society events. I’m very passionate about anything art related, but especially oil painting, so it’s been great attending the life drawing and the Thursday art activities.
I therefore would love to become a part of this committee and organize more social events for the society! Planning visits to galleries, Ottley runs, and other social events to meet arty people are all ideas that i’d be happy to plan! I would want to create an atmosphere that’s both enjoyable and safe so that members have a memorable experience within the society.
I believe i can make the societies social events fun, inclusive, and creative, and therefore would love to take on this role within the committee!
