Hi I’m Kate (they/she) and I am re-running to be your Music and Performance Rep! I have had the most amazing time on the Activities Exec and hope to represent the M&P community for another year. I am going into my final year studying an MA in Performance Design but you can usually find me working behind the scenes of one of the many shows in LUU. I have learned so much about our brilliant societies this year and can’t wait to see more!

What have I done this year?
Set up an M&P Instagram- which I have used to promote events and opportunities among our societies
Laid the groundwork for Leeds Fringe- Though it wasn’t able to go ahead this year, Leeds Fringe is in the works for the next academic year
Been an advocate for funding our M&P societies- I have been meeting with societies all year to support them with applying for funding for M&P at LUU

What do I want to do next year?
Making Music and Performance practices more sustainable at LUU
Helping Fringe opportunities be accessible to all students, in Leeds and beyond
Setting up
‘M&P meetups’ to promote cross-society bonds
