Hey! I'm Chloe Payne and I am running for the position of Social Secretary. Being a member of the Law Society has been such a great experience this year for me, in particular I was given the opportunity to be Social Sec for the netball team. Through this role, not only have I been able to make new friends in all years of study, but I have also developed my planning and organisation skills by arranging the weekly socials and their activities/themes. I would love to be able to expand on my skills and be apart of the Law committee by becoming your new Social Sec. The thought of being able to put my manifesto ideas into reality propels my interest in applying for this role. My commitment, through the proposals I intend to initiate, is to make sure everyone has a memorable experience at University. After all, it is a once in a life time opportunity! Hi guys I’m Alicia Hundal and I am running to be your social secretary this year! For me, the social events put on this year have been so beneficial in making new friends and general socialising with other students in all years. I hope to bring new, exciting socials to the law society catering for both drinkers and non-drinkers and be able to continue to create amazing socials taking over from Izzy who we all know did an incredible job! My previous experience running events and contacting venues and catering services means I have knowledge in this department and having to run them simultaneously shows that I have strong organisational skills which are important for this role! I hope you enjoy reading my manifesto and like the ideas that I have come up with!
