Hi everyone! I'm Sarah and I would love the opportunity to be your equality and diversity secretary next year. Alongside my current experience on the sub-committee, I have also been an active member of the law society and loved my time being a part of it so far. My manifesto mentions some of my ideas for socials and events which promote inclusion to ensure everyone feels that the law society is a safe and welcoming space. Not only that, I want to ensure everyone feels represented and has access to as many opportunities within the society. If anyone has questions or concerns please don't hesitate to message me!

Hello! I am Sidra. The Law Society has given me endless opportunities. I have enjoyed every single moment. I would like to give back to the Law Society and the student law community by being your next Equality and Diversity Secretary.
One of the most important things I have learnt over the past few years is what it means to have a social perspective. The ability to understand different opinions and ideas has made me a very broad minded individual which means I can connect with anyone!
I have been able to learn so much about different cultures by connecting with a diverse range of people. Therefore, for me Equality and Diversity is at the heart of everything and I want to ensure it is embedded in every decision taken in the Law School.

As an International student, I understand the struggle we all had when we first arrived the UK, I therefore would like to enhance support to international law students, especially transfer & exchange students. With my commitments in the current E&D Sub-committee and my experience as a brand ambassador for Taylor Wessing LLP and a committee member in Women in Leadership Society, I am experienced to work in a successful committee and organise quality activities to promote E&D in law soc.
