Social Secretary
The roles and responsibilities of the Social Secretary include:
- organising and running activities and events including a weekly pub lunch and other weekly social, as decided on jointly by the committee
- delegating responsibility if required to other committee members of the society to help run and organise events
- ensuring that events which require members to book onto are uploaded on LUU engage. This should be done with sufficient notice, as decided in conjunction with the treasurer.
- ensuring that socials which require booking and/or payment with external companies are completed in conjunction with the Treasurer
- ensuring that there are adequate reminders about socials and events via an established communication method decided on by the committee
