I'm George, a soon-to-be second-year English Language and Linguistics student. I've always had a strong interest in language and loved studying my course in first year.

So, when thinking about how best to get more involved in my course and the society, I thought, how else than to nominate myself to be your secretary! As Head Boy in sixth form, communication and event management developed into some of my best skills, and I'd love the opportunity to prove that to the society's members.

I would be ecstatic to get this role, and get to meet and interact with more people interested in linguistics across the university.
