Namaste! My name is Jarisse, a first year Business Management with Marketing student passionate about being your next Social Media and Marketing Secretary for LUU Yoga Society! My aim for this role is to provide a warm and welcoming online space for all members of the society which reflects the calm, creative and connective space that yoga brings 🧘🏻‍♀️!

Outside of my studies, I enjoy engaging in my passion for social media by creating content for Emmaus Leeds - a charity which provide a home and meaningful work to formerly homeless people. Working closely with the Regional Communications Officer, I have been able to create a variety of short form visual content, including TikTok’s and reels 📱. My contribution has helped enhance their social media pages, increasing viewer engagement by 30% on TikTok.

As a highly organised, efficient and creative individual, I know I will consistently create engaging and educational content spreading awareness of the society and also promote the benefits Yoga has on our physical and mental wellbeing. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned yogi, I want to create a friendly environment and continue to increase the growth of our online presence and community.
