I am an active Filipino society member. Filipino society made me feel so welcomed and I have made so many close friends. I hope to spread this feeling to others by helping out wherever I can as part of the committee. I acknowledge that becoming secretary comes with a lot of responsibilities, and I believe I have the qualities best suited for this role.

I have developed my organisational skills from studying Biochemistry in university, as I have to manage my workload and keep on top of deadlines.

I have helped out at open days as a student ambassador for the Faculty of Biological Sciences, communicating with students, parents and staff. Therefore, I can communicate effectively with other committee members and the rest of Filsoc.
