Hello fellow filipinos! I’m June and I am running to be your future social media secretary.

As an active member of the filipino society, I have made so many memorable experiences and met so many people who have become some of my most treasured friends in life. Filsoc is truly a family like no other. I hope that by becoming part of the committee, I can share this wonderful community to others too and bring the same filipino pride to our future members. Through my role as social media manager, I aim to create engaging content to both update members in the society and attract more people to our family.

My journalism degree has helped me develop strong writing and editing skills which are essential for making posts that are informative, but at the same time, fun and exciting. I also have experience managing social media from my previous role as communications coordinator during sixth form. Therefore, I am used to working with tight deadlines and adapting quickly to new trends, making me well-suited for creating timely and relevant content.

I recognise the great work and effort put in by previous social media managers, as well as the achievements made by the filipino society as a whole. I am hopeful and looking forward to having the opportunity to make this society flourish even more. Thank youu 3.
