Heyy, my names Pia, I am currently a first year Chemistry student and I will be running for events secretary !!
Being an active member of filsoc has allowed me to make new friends and has made my uni experience better than I could have imagined. I hope that becoming events sec can help me make everyone feel welcome and have someone to talk to always !!
Having worked closely with the committee this year, I know the hard work and dedication it takes and I am ready to take on this responsibility. Being an organised person will allow me to ensure all events run smoothly and events are done consistently throughout the year. As events sec I hope to come up with new and fun ideas for different filsoc events and of course listen to any suggestions that any members have. Some ideas that I have are speed dating for valentine’s day and more society collab events so everyone can make new friends and meet new people.
My main goal as events sec is to ensure everyone has fun and enjoys themselves.
