This is a newer role in the society! The vice president's duties are concurrent to those of the president; however, we feel that this role is necessary to ensure that the workload of the president's role is not placed on a single person. Along with sharing the responsibilities of the president's position, the vice-president should be able to act in place of the president, when necessary, play a role in organising events, contribute to social media and publicity material and ensure the welfare of society members.
