Hi everyone! I'm Patrick, a first year Biochemistry student. As a dedicated chess player, I want to apply the detail orientation, time commitment and enthusiasm that chess requires of us to the daily administration of the society. ​
As someone who regularly attends Monday casual sessions and plays for the competitive team on Wednesdays, as President I want to both ensure a friendly environment for new players, and provide ample opportunities for those who want to play classical games against other chess clubs. ​
If made President, I plan to develop relationships with other societies through collaborative events, create a welcoming environment for new players via our Monday sessions, and take our competitive teams to the next level.​
