Hello! I'm Jason, currently a second-year student studying computer science. I thoroughly enjoy spending time at the chess society and meeting new people over this beautiful game. My favourite chess piece is the knight for its flexibility and influence during the initial stages of games.

As I will be a placement student next year, I am eager to take on some responsibilities within the chess society to make the most of my free time. My previous experience in creating product posters for a small e-commerce business has allowed me to develop my ability to manage and adhere to deadlines effectively.

I also consider myself detail-oriented, a quality honed through constantly looking for random bugs in my programs. Most importantly, due to my former studies in business, I am familiar with analysing balance sheets and cash flow statements, so I am confident that I can excel in this role.

Hi, my name is Mauoosh and im a first year student progressing to second year of accounting and finance in university of leeds. I do have anquite a bit of experience handling accounts of small businesses in my home town so i think the role of treasurer is a good fit for me.
