Hi! I'm Lisa, and I'm a second year English and Music student. I've been really dedicated to, and enjoying my time as part of Lippy this year so far and would love to be your Welfare Officer! In this role I would work to create a safe and friendly environment of which everyone feels included, and become a figure people feel safe to ask questions and chat to!

Hello beautiful Lippy members, my name is Maia and I am super excited to be running for Welfare Officer!
I am a second year Fine Art with History of Art student, and I have been involved with Lippy since the end of my first year, but have had the pleasure of getting more stuck in to the society this year. I love the creative community we have within Lippy, and would be excited to become more involved in it within the committee.
I believe I would make a good Welfare Officer due to my calm, welcoming nature - I would be a friendly face at socials to approach with any concerns, or even just a nice chat! My main priority would be working with SASHA (Students Against Sexual Harassment & Assault), to ensure Lippy remains a safe and inclusive society, but most importantly to gain our SASHA accreditation. I have volunteered with victims of domestic abuse, so am sensitive to difficult topics and can handle them with respect and care. I am organised and reliable, and would be happy to help members or committee with any issues, big or small!
Overall, I just love Lippy! It would be my pleasure to be your Welfare Officer :)
