Secretary

The secretary is the brain of the club. It requires organisation and time management but is a great role if you want to learn a lot gain new contacts, specific responsibilities are to:

• Manage the club email account.
• Book hall space and liaise with opposition teams regarding fixture times.
• Share the fixture list with the players and coaches and check player availability from the team captains.
• Ensure match forms are completed by the team captains and sent to the league.
• Provide support with BUCS operations, including player registration, uploading results, etc.
• Prepare agenda and minutes from committee meetings.
• Set up the end-of-year committee election.
