Hi everyone, my name is Alanna and I am here today to nominate myself to be the Design Vice President!

I have previously already been on committee as the Vice President for Marketing so I have intimate knowledge of what this role will entail and plus I know how to work as a team member to ensure the best society experience! Beyond this, I am an expert with Canva and procreate as I use them in my spare time to draw so you can be ensured that I will be putting in 10/10 for the role! Having come from a study abroad where I have to plan and execute trips and my life in another country, I am now more than ever on top of meeting deadlines and organising a lot of work with prioritisation. That is why you can be ensured I will always deliver my best efforts in the role.

My first plan of action is making posts that now fit instagram’s new boarders as well as the previous squares for other platforms so that the social media pages always look perfect! Then I want to offer all you LUBlies with the opportunity to wear your own merch if you so desire!

I am very excited to be putting myself forward for Design and Merchandising Sec. I am currently a first year fashion marketing student so am very passionate about art and design as well as fashion.
I would love the opportunity to create some really fun and exciting content for the instagram, continuing on the amazing work by Sophie this year. I would look to work closely with the social media sec to stay in keeping with the current themes while adding my own touches to the content.
I really enjoy working in a team with others and would love to have the opportunity to be a part of what I am sure will be an amazing committee next year!
