I’m Amelia, going into 2nd year studying Economics and Finance BSc. I enjoy going out and spending time with my friends. I’m always looking for ways to support others - I tutor on the side and I’m currently setting up a business with my sister focused on helping students and graduates with studying, careers, and personal development.

As a first-year Business Management and Marketing student, I am highly motivated and eager to dive into opportunities that foster growth and success. I enjoy seeking new opportunities that will contribute to my future success, I would like to have a hand in connecting others with the right opportunities to support their development through university. My enthusiasm for learning and working hard makes me a strong candidate for the role of careers and sponsorship secretary. I am committed to helping my friends navigate their career paths, so I would like the chance to go beyond this and help those in the LUBS society. Having attended a few networking events during first year I have been able to develop networking skills that would allow me to secure valuable sponsorships and create meaningful connections. With my proactive attitude, strong communication skills and drive to make a positive impact, I believe I would thrive in this role and give students the access to the resources they need to succeed.
