Hi LUBIES!! My name is Christine and I am running for LUBS President for 2025/26. As your current General Secretary, I have had the privilege of working closely with the committee to organise events, support members, and create a strong sense of community within our society. Now, I am eager to take LUBS to the next level by introducing new ideas such as more collaborations, and ensuring that every member benefits from being part of this incredible society.

My experience in leadership roles has equipped me with the skills and determination needed to lead LUBS effectively. As General Secretary, I have been responsible for managing society operations, coordinating meetings, and ensuring smooth communication between members. Additionally, my time as President of the British Chinese Society allowed me to oversee a team of over 10 committee members and plan a range of successful events. From career workshops to large scale social gatherings, I have a track record of creating meaningful experiences that bring people together.

If elected, my main priority will be to expand the opportunities available to our members. I plan to introduce more career focused events, networking opportunities, and collaborations with industry professionals to help students gain valuable insights into the business world. I also want to strengthen our partnerships with other societies, creating a more inclusive and dynamic student experience. Most importantly, I will ensure that LUBS remains a supportive and welcoming environment where every member feels heard and valued.
