I am really excited to be running for the Marketing and Social Media Secretary for LUBS!
I have experience running social media accounts, such as Instagram, Linkedin and TikTok for a business. I ran the socials of a Young Enterprise financial business, posting pictures, reels and podcast episodes, which saw us become the National Winners where we then represented the UK for the JA Company of the Year Award. I believe this has equipped me with the skills such as organisation, graphic design and collaboration, which I can best use to enhance LUBS social media. I want to create a relationship with the social media audience and LUBS members to make the society approachable and engaging for all, so more people can be a part of it. This also means I am keen to quickly reply to any questions or comments sent to social media accounts.
I am friendly and approachable and I have loved getting to know people in LUBS this year, with LUBS events and especially through netball. These opportunities have made me want to be part of the team that make it happen !!

I’d love to be LUBS’ Marketing and Social Media Secretary. My combined passion for social media, excellent organizational and communication skills will ensure I go above and beyond the responsibilities of the role. My dream is to work in marketing, and this role offers the perfect opportunity to showcase my strengths while helping LUBS grow its online presence. One of my standout qualities is my exceptional organizational ability. I’m someone who thrives on structure, so managing LUBS’ social media platforms will be second nature. In my previous jobs roles, I loved being behind the scenes and working hard to make sure deadlines are met and all aspects of my tasks are well balanced. I’m a perfectionist who’s determined to give LUBS a fantastic social presence that represents us in the best light. Communication is another key strength of mine. I’ve been commended on my skills maintaining relationships through email and phone calls in my office based sales jobs. As the first point of contact for LUBS members, I’ll be quick to respond to DMs and Facebook messages, always making sure members feel connected and informed. I know how crucial it is to be reliable and approachable, and I take pride in offering fast and friendly support. Ultimately, my goal is to elevate LUBS’ social media presence, making it more engaging and interactive. I love our society, and go to as many of the social events as I can. I want to make as many people as possible aware, so they too can join the community. I am eager to deliver content that resonates with both current and potential members, and be a friendly, dependable line of contact for any queries.

Hey LUBS! I would love to be your new Marketing & Social Media Sec as I believe we need to make LUBS social media accounts attractive, interactive and more appealing in order to attract members and retain those of you already here!
I am extremely passionate about this role & love to interact and communicate with people - something which I would enjoy in this role to ensure that any queries / concerns of our LUBS members are met🥰.
I would work alongside the Design & Merchandising Sec to ensure the LUBS accounts are adequate and represent the true nature of this society, as well as the rest of the committee to ensure that as a team we meet everyone's needs and wants🕺🏼💃🏾.

Hi, my name is Jenna and I would love to be the Marketing and Social Media Secretary for 2025/2026. I am currently in my first year studying Business Management, and I enjoy travelling, going out with friends and playing hockey.
