My name is Cameron and I am a first year Classical Civilisation student and I've nominated myself for the role of Events Secretary for next year's Classics Society Committee.

I have loved going to Classics Society events this year and have met so many wonderful people from this society too and thought it would be great to try and become a committee member for next year!

As the Events Secretary, I would take on the role of planning and organising the bigger events within the society such as the annual trip and assist the other committee members in running other events and socials for the society. I would also want to help ensure that Classics Society will remain to be as welcoming as possible for as many people in Leeds. I believe that I would be a good candidate for Events Secretary as I enjoy arranging events and can dedicate myself to projects and give them my full attention to make the events as enjoyable as possible.
